HMO/PPO: Depending on your insurance company, you are required to make co-payment for each office visit for each child we see. The co-payments must be made at time of visit. If we do not collect co-payments at each visit, your insurance company has the right to cancel our contract with them. We cannot "bill you" for co-payments because of this stipulation in our contracts with your insurance companies. We accept cash, personal checks, credit cards and debit cards. Please call our office at 727.323.2727 and ask to speak with an office manager if you have questions regarding which insurance we accept.

As of this time we are not a participating provider for most of the new insurance plans that are part of the Affordable Care Act. If you are interested in applying for one of these plans, please verify with the insurance plan that we are participating providers. You should also verify that All Children's Hospital is a participating provider, as well as pediatric specialists. We understand that healthcare is changing every day and your insurance plays an important role. We are here to try to answer any questions you may have and help you make the best decision possible for your family.

As parents, both mother and father should be familiar with their insurance company's policies. If you are not familiar, contact the person in charge at your place of employment (usually in the personnel department).

If you don't have insurance or your insurance policy does not cover immunizations, check with one of our nurses, before you see the doctor, about our "HRS Vaccination Program". These vaccines are provided by the state and are identical to the vaccines that we purchase. The only difference is there is no cost to you.

We hope this will prevent any awkward moments upon your check out at our front desk.

Parenting is full of joy! It is our wish that your visits to our office, throughout, be as pleasant and easy as possible for you and your children.

We welcome your questions and look forward to a long happy relationship with our doctors and entire staff! As the saying goes, "in sickness and in health", we're here for you!
